What wonderful weather.
I have been able to complete some local Domestic EPC’s in Knutsford on my bike! I have just ridden back from Springwood Avenue off Moberly Road WA16 8HZ. A very nice lady and her very helpful son.
I have also been over to Chapel-en-le-Frith to complete a Commercial EPC. Again owned by a lovely lady, she is going to rent it out to an Estate Agents I think. The building is beautiful – very old – solid stone walls over 700mm thick! It is a scorching day – yet it was freezing inside the building!
I completed both EPC’s for a very reasonable price, plus I was fast efficient and all done with a smile.
Oh my gosh I have never been so busy. I am not complaining – I am delighted.
Today I went to complete and EPC on a Chinese takeaway in Wilmslow. Hawthorn Street SK9 5EH. The gentleman was lovely and I reduced his fee from £175 to £160 because he was an ideal client – he didn’t distract me, yet he was very helpful. He even got his ladders out for me to look in the loft – very kind. He had described his building accurately on the phone and it was all that he said it was. I was very straight forward.
He found my name on the internet- Google search to be precise!
I have also now signed up to Metropix, because I have been doing a fair amount of domestic EPCs and floor plans for Marshalls all over Cheshire.
Oh – I have also been asked to complete a commercial EPC in Chapel-on-the –Frith… just need to make the appointment.
Its late now and i have been working all day – so good night…
Well, I have been very busy completing EPC’s domestic and commercial. Today I have just arranged to complete a commercial EPC in Wilmslow on a Chinese Takeaway. He sounds like a very nice man.
I completed an EPC yesterday on a property in Holmes Chapel on Macclesfield road. It is a beautiful building, very nicely presented. Lovely views out over the countryside.
Also, I have been meeting some very interesting people over in Northwich – Hunts Lock – what an amazing place. There is no vehicle access. Wow – stunning though, overlooking the river Weaver. The properties are traditional… lovely.
Oh – I am hoping to get some Photovoltaic’s put on my roof this winter – the assessor is coming round soon to give me all the information, I would also like to see about solar panels. Hey ho – back to work.
My phone doesn’t stop ringing at the moment, hence as to why I haven’t blogged for ages! Plus the fact my old computer said “NO” and blew up!!!
All back in order now, new desk top – much better than a lap top especially when one is sooo busy.
Just recently I have landed myself all the domestic EPCs for Marshalls – a brilliant Estate agents/auctioneers in the Northwest. I also complete floor plans for them.
Plus I have had a phone call from Fifield Glyn, a Chartered surveyor in Cheshire and Mayfield! They are looking for someone to complete Commercial EPCs and plans in the Northwest. Fingers crossed on that one. I am e-mailing them a price list today.
I have had Robert from Mottram Investments on the phone asking me about commercial EPCs – however I have been so busy I haven’t yet found the time to meet up with him, however I hope to do so in the next few weeks.
I have completed recently EPCs in Knutsford, Lymm, Chapel-on-the-frith, Northwich – oh and today I have been asked to complete 6 properties in Northwich on the banks of the river Weaver… sounds nice.
Must go….
I am delighted to say that this year has kicked off with a bang.
Yesterday I visited a commercial property in Altrincham – The Fat Loaf. Today I am writing up the notes and hope to lodge it.
Tomorrow I am going to complete a domestic EPC in Atherton Cheshire. I am completing this one for a group of Solicitors based in the North West.
Whilst all this work is coming in though it is preventing me from the most important job – Tax return!
I will have to work this weekend.
Oh – I have also had a gentleman on from an investment company and he wants me to complete two commercial EPC’s next week in Macclesfield.
It goes to show, hard work, a good yet fair price, an excellent service, keeping to deadlines, and service with a smile – works.
Bring it on…..!
Well, it has been a while since I gave you an update. I have been unbelievably busy.
Just before Christmas I quoted a very cheap price of £200 for a commercial EPC in Manchester. The client wanted it immediately as usual. I was fast, efficient, professional and supplied the EPC on time – with a smile! Since then that client has come back to me asking for another one this time in Cheshire. It just goes to show that you get what you pay for and if you pay peanuts you get a monkey service!
I have also had my ever faithful Northwest group of Solicitors contact me to complete another domestic EPC for them. This is also in Cheshire. I have completed over 300 domestic EPC’s for this group of Solicitors and you won’t get a better service than with them.
That is all for now, because I am going through my accounts which need to be done before the end of the month.
